1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your browser or device. Similar technologies include local storage, session tokens, and pixels. We use these to operate secure sessions, remember preferences, and maintain service reliability.

2. Cookies we use

Strictly necessary. Authentication and session cookies set by our identity provider to keep you signed in and protect against cross-site request forgery. These are required for the Service to function and cannot be disabled while using authenticated features.

Functional. Preferences such as UI state or setup progress stored in browser local storage where applicable.

Infrastructure. Technical cookies or request metadata may be collected for routing, security, and performance.

We do not use third-party advertising or behavioural tracking cookies.

3. Third-party cookies

When you sign in, our identity provider may set cookies according to its own privacy policy. Review their documentation for details on cookie duration and controls.

4. Managing cookies

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent sign-in and dashboard access. To withdraw consent for optional cookies (if introduced in future), use browser controls or contact legal@hmct.in.

5. Updates

If we introduce analytics or marketing cookies, we will update this policy and, where required by law, obtain consent before activation.
